“Your conviction and your bravery make you a true example for people in Ethiopia and worldwide.” With this words Brita Wagener, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ethiopia, awarded Berhanu Negussie with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Berhanu assumed the office as Menschen für Menschen Country Representative in Ethiopia in 2002 and has since pursued this position with great enthusiasm and commitment. When Karlhenz Böhm started his work in Ethiopia in 1981, Berhanu was his first employee and soon became Böhms close friend and confidant. Our sincere congratulations to you Berhanu!
